I'm Ashwag.A fiery arab girl living in kookoo Africa, with a passion for writing and all things human.My love for writing isinspired by my fascination for humans.I am so in love with the human race, i find myself drowning in any that i meet and not wanting to come up to breathe untill i have understood them.Until i have loved them.
I write to put into words, overwhleming human feeling that many of us do not know how to voice.
I write to understand what is going on in my ever so conflicted head.
I write to relate.
I write to give a voice to people who need it.
I write to create understanding.And to inspire.
Even if it's one little 15 year old girl who feels like she could realte to a sentence i wrote, that is enough for me.
I am an idealist by nature and so I believe in dreams and i hold on to hope with everything in me.
I want to be that voice that tells that lonely heartbroken girl that she has a chance to be happy again.
And to remind that artistic boy that he does not need to be rough and tough to be a man.That the strength of his soul is the only thing that matters when it comes to being a man.When it comes to being human.
I write for him and her.For you and I.Anything you've wanted to say but didnt know how, i will say it for you.
I have up pieces of writing of a variety of different things.My hope is that you all could relate to a piece or even get an understnding of other human beings from my work.I am very much inlove with Art and the effect it has on people.I madly appreciate all kinds of art.The ones that i practise are writing and spoken word.But i am more than williing to work with anyone who would like to mix my art form with theirs.
And last but not least at all, to all the humans reading this...
